Lao Mao Cha 1992
With a typical earthy smell and taste, this sheng (aged) pu-erh from Yunnan is sweet and gentle. One can detect notes of ripe dried prunes and apricots. Consider rinsing the leaves with hot water before the first brew to remove any post-fermentation residue and sharpen the flavour. Pu-erh is a fantastic tea after a heavy meal.
