Qi Zhong
A sweet, spicy rock oolong from Wuyi Mountains in China’s Fujian Province. It has a lovely scent of wildflowers. Its complex flavour is reminiscent of burnt pie with light notes of raisins or baked apple. Compared to other rock oolongs, the flavour of this tea is smoother and less dry.

Description
Qi Zhong means strange cultivars or unique varietal.
The tea comes from the leaves of various bush varietals growing at around 1,700 m, in the Foguoyan area of Wuyi region. The tea farmers leave the bushes to grow naturally so that they absorb more nutrients and minerals from the soil. They pluck the leaves in mid-April.
Like all rock oolongs, this teas pairs well with rich, fatty or spicy foods, and creamy desserts.
