Golden Osmanthus (Huang Jin Gui)

An aromatic oolong tea from the high elevation of Anxi Mountains in China. When infused, the beautifully rolled leaves release a clear aroma of osmanthus flowers. The top notes of the liquor are fruity, while the middle notes are floral with a hint of honey. When brewed for longer or hotter, the osmanthus flavour becomes more intense.

Description

The most famous tea from Anxi is Tie Guan Yin. Less oxidised than Tie Guan Yin (<20%), Golden Osmanthus lacks the sour bitterness of its more famous relative and instead preserves its floral and sweet character.
