Japanese Sencha
Sencha is the most consumed tea in Japan. This tea comes from Uji Prefecture, giving it a deep taste and aroma. The special processing of these teas results in a rich vegetal aroma and umami flavour of seaweed with a little astringency. The liquor has a thick texture and a persistent, refreshing aftertaste. It is one of the few teas perfect for cold-steeping.

Description
Japanese Sencha supports digestion and is ideal for drinking after a meal. Its sweet taste pairs well with savoury snacks, red meat, chicken, spicy foods, or English breakfast.
Teas produced in the Uji Prefecture have a deeper taste and aroma and a nobler colour than the teas produced in the rest of Japan. That is due to the processing method, the surrounding greenery, sloping hills, misty climate and soil rich in nutrients.
