Whether consumed in the morning or afternoon, this tea provides an energy boost. Best to be served plain to savour its intrinsic notes.

Description
The harvest of the Assam 2nd flush tea takes place during summer. It is the best quality flush of the 4 taking place throughout the year in India. The resulting teas have a rich malty flavour profile. Moreover, the teas are less astringent compared to the 1st flush.
TGFOP stands for Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe, which is the 3rd highest grade (out of 8) for best quality black teas.
Mancotta Tea Estate produces some of the best Assam Orthodox teas, brimming with shiny golden tips. The estate focuses exclusively on orthodox teas and is Rainforest Alliance certified. This means that the estate’s production methods support the three pillars of sustainability: social, economic, and environmental.
We recommend serving the Assam 2nd flush tea plain. But it could also be a good accompaniment for smoked or spicy dishes.
